{"id":3571,"date":"2025-11-23T10:12:25","date_gmt":"2025-11-23T10:12:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/libmanandiocese.org\/?p=3571"},"modified":"2025-11-27T11:05:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T11:05:14","slug":"diocese-of-libmanan-holds-2025-synodal-planning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libmanandiocese.org\/?p=3571","title":{"rendered":"Diocese of Libmanan Holds 2025 Synodal Pastoral Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Revisits Frameworks Guiding Synodal Journey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clergy and lay members of the Diocesan Pastoral Council gathered on <strong>October 27\u201328, 2025<\/strong>, at <strong>St. John the Baptist Parish in San Fernando, Camarines Sur<\/strong>, for the <strong>Diocesan Synodal Pastoral Planning<\/strong> in preparation for the third year of implementing the Diocese of Libmanan\u2019s <strong>Five-Dimensional Pastoral Program<\/strong>, characterized as &#8220;A Mission of Shepherding,&#8221; inspired by Jesus&#8217; instruction to Peter, &#8220;Feed my lambs&#8221; (John 21:15-17).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ground the planning process, the assembly revisited two major guides for the synodal journey. First, participants reviewed the <strong>National Process Framework<\/strong>, clarifying its four movements to ensure a common and deeper understanding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tinig-Tawag<\/strong> \u2013 listening to all and clarifying the call<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tawid-Tanaw<\/strong> \u2013 undergoing conversion and setting the goals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tapak-Tindig<\/strong> \u2013 creating impact and renewing commitment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tipan<\/strong> \u2013 returning to the covenant with God<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, the group considered the <strong>Metropolitan Province of Caceres&#8217; reclassification of the characteristics of a synodal Church<\/strong>. A synodal Church is described as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <strong>listening and discerning Church<\/strong> (communion)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Church that <strong>shares responsibility<\/strong> (participation)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Church that <strong>proclaims Christ to the world<\/strong> (mission)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These characteristics, the assembly noted, must be visibly expressed and concretely lived out in the Church\u2019s three traditional <strong>munera<\/strong>: teaching, sanctifying, and governing. Both frameworks provided essential lenses for the group\u2019s deliberations and decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these guiding principles, the participants crafted proposed activities for <strong>2026<\/strong>, covering a wide range of diocesan commissions: Catechesis and Faith Formation, Biblical Apostolate, Liturgy, Laity, Family &amp; Life, Youth, Religious Organizations, Social Communications, Social Action, Safeguarding Commission, Finance, Church Properties, Cultural Heritage, Vocation, and Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals addressing the needs of the <strong>clergy<\/strong>, <strong>religious communities<\/strong>, and the <strong>seminary<\/strong> were likewise presented, ensuring the inclusion of all sectors of the local Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two-day planning reinforced the Diocese\u2019s ongoing commitment to journeying together\u2014listening, discerning, sharing responsibility, and proclaiming Christ\u2014while renewing its covenant with God and strengthening its mission in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped
