The ordinandi secured permission from the Sacred Penitentiary to have their upcoming ordination to the priesthood as an occasion for the granting of the plenary indulgence. In response to the request of Dcn. Neil John Bolocon who wrote in behalf of his fellow ordinandi, the Sacred Penitentiary responded to say that the favor requested is being granted. Those who, therefore, attend the ordinations, who fulfill the usual conditions such as sacramental confession, eucharistic communion, and prayer for the intentions of the Holy Father, may avail of the special grace. Signed by Angelo Card. De Donatis, the Major Penitentiary, and Msgr. Krzysztof Nykiel, Regent, the granting of the plenary indulgence, it is hoped, would draw the faithful to convert into action the supernatural virtues of faith, hope and charity.
