Naga City, December 6, 2023. The School Division Office of Camarines Sur held the 2023 Division Education and Stakeholders and Partnerships Appreciation at Villa Caceres Hotel, in this city. One of those recognized during the occasion was Caritas Diocese of Libmanan (CDL). CDL was cited, together with other local government units, private sectors and community partners, for its support in the implementation of various DepEd programs, projects and activities. Through its project entitled, Youth from Camarines Sur Protagonist of Sustainable Economic, Social and Environmental Rural Devepopment with Human Rights and Gender Approach, in the Philippines, CDL agreed to serve as one of the major partners of DepEd Cam. Sur in implementing the promotion of sustainable agriculture. The implementation of the project was carried out in partnership with InterRed with a transformative education and La Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID). Starting earlier this year (2023), the project is projected to last for three years until 2025. Beneficiaries of the project were three piloting schools of the 1st and 2nd Districts of Camarines Sur, namely, Mansalaya National High School in Del Gallego, Pamplona National High School in Pamplona and San Antonio National High School in Milaor–all under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Libmanan. Present during the event to acknowledge the citation and receive the plaque of appreciation was Fr. Romulo Castañeda, CDL’s Executive Director.
