Safeguarding Policy
The Office of the Parish Safeguarding and Protection Desk (PSPD)
ensures that children and vulnerable adults in our Parish through its
(Saradit na Kristiyanong Komunidad) Basic Ecclesial Communities are
safeguarded and protected from harm and from all forms of abuse and
exploitation.

Creation of a Diocesan Complaint Desk
As envisioned by the aforementioned provision of the motu proprio, the Diocesan Complaint Desk
is a permanent structure in the diocese which gives easy access to the faithful—and therefore open
to the public—for the filing of complaint or for forwarding a report on clerical sexual abuse of
children, the youth, and vulnerable adults.

Freemasonry: Towards a Pastoral Approach
Repeating the stipulation of the 1981 Declaration, the 1983 Declaration concludes by stipulating
that the Holy See does not allow any individual bishop nor any bishops’ conference to permit
Catholics to join masonic lodges.

Valid Baptisms Recognized by the Catholic Church in PH
The list of Christian sects and denominations is extremely extensive that attempting to cover and
scrutinize each and every one of them is likely doomed to failure. Their number has simply
exponentially grown in recent years that it has become doubly hard, if not impossible to trace each and
every one of them.
